Applying for an Altrusa Mini-Grant for Teachers
All Brookings County, SD public and private school teachers in grades K-12 are invited to participate in the Mini-Grants Program.  It is designed to encourage creativity in teachers and to foster cooperation between the private and public sectors of the Brookings community.  This program awards grants -- up to $200 per proposal -- for innovative teaching projects that would not be possible without additional, non-school funding.  Because of the economy, the amount of grant funds is limited this year so bring out your best proposal. 
 

Reviewed anonymously by a panel, grant applications are evaluated by the following standards:  creativity, benefit to students, degree of student involvement, efficient use of funds and adaptability of project for use by other teachers.

 
All applications must be submitted online below.  Applications are due by COB April 1 for distribution in May.  Contact the President@BrookingsAltrusa.com for more information.
